Many thanks to JD and Gabe and helpers for both Lesbian Weekend and the mighty concert at our Opera House. Thanks also for the recognition given to The Feminist Bookshop in the Lesbian Logies presented to myself and Libby. I loved being on the diverse panel discussing the Virginia Woolf quote. Thanks sister panelists, Katrina, and audience. And also what a buzz to see so many old friends. What I loved about the whole weekend was that it was a coming together of generations, especially evident at the concert. love and thanks Gail Hewison now ex Feminist Bookshop

Some feed back about the lesbian weekend. The Bush Dance was great, we needed more space it was so enthusiastically supported, Well done. the Newtown event was great. The walk was well planned and although I new some of the things not all -terrific to get to know all the good work in our community. The Poetry was fantastic, great stalls all superb quality, and terrific self defence display. sorry had no time to see the other events. The concert even though overlong was fantastic. So great to see the old and fabulous new performers, left me wanting more. An additional plus of the weekend was catching up with women from interstate and country areas, a wonderful lift in the year. Thank you Georgina and Gabe for taking it on and succeeding also thanks to any other helpers.

Thanks to Georgina and Gabe for pulling this off . The Lesbian events will be mielstones for all of us in an often fragmented community. It takes special people to pull this off and the Opera House Concert definitely exceeded my expectations. You did a great Job

Went to My first Mardi Gras street parade! have watched it for years on NZ TV and the excitement of being in Sydney and seeing everything live was amazing! Dykes on Bikes still more favourite!!!
